🧭 Why this matters

Some of the best contributions at work are quiet — they don’t always show up in dashboards or performance reviews. By taking two minutes to highlight a teammate’s great work to their manager, you make that effort visible, meaningful, and repeatable.

When you do this:

- You reinforce behaviors that help you and others succeed - You help teammates get credit that otherwise may go unnoticed - You give a manager better visibility into how their team (which is an extension of them) shows up

It’s a small act — but one that sticks.

🛠 How to do it

Think of a time someone made your work better recently — maybe they stepped in at the right moment, unblocked something for you, or showed thoughtfulness that made a difference.
Then, it's as simple as writing a quick note to their manager.
You don’t need to overthink it. Just tell them what happened and why it helped. No need to CC the person or try to “perform” — this is about genuine appreciation, not politics.

✅ What to do this week

Think of one person whose effort helped you recently. Then choose a message (I have some templates for you if you need them) and send a quick note to manager.

Will you send a quick note to help someone get recognized?
