🤔 Why this matters

Most people go through their days not knowing when they’re being truly helpful.
When you tell someone what worked — and why — it does three things:

✔ Reinforces behaviors that help you succeed ✔ Builds their confidence and self-awareness ✔ Strengthens your relationship and future collaboration

It’s one of the easiest ways to influence the world around you for the better.

🛠 How to do it

1️⃣ Pick 1 person who helped you recently

Someone who clarified something, gave feedback, removed friction, or supported you.

2️⃣ Write them a quick thank-you

One or two sentences is perfect. Make it specific - tell them what it was and how it helped you.

Use this starter message:

"Hey [name], I just wanted to say thank you for [specific thing they did]. It really helped me with [why it mattered]. I really appreciate it!"

3️⃣ Send it

Slack, text, email — whatever’s natural.

⭐ Bonus: Try this once a week to build a habit of lifting others up.
