🤔 Why this matters

The people you trust often see strengths and qualities you might not notice in yourself. Gathering their perspective helps you recognize what’s already working, feel more confident in your direction, and strengthen relationships with those you want to grow with. Unlike traditional feedback mechanisms, responses are for your eyes only. This means people are more honest with you and you are more likely to take it to heart.

🛠 How to do it

Schedule time to send Network Insights 1. Pick 3–5 people you trust. Choose colleagues, peers, or partners you respect — people you’d be excited to work with again.

2. Send them a quick request using Truest Network Insights. We'll draft you an email that invites their perspective. It takes them just 3–5 minutes to respond.

3. Frame it with gratitude + genuine interest in growth. You are working hard to improve, and how you do depends on the perspective of the people you like (them!).

4. Review responses in your Truest dashboard. You'll be able to see individual responses, as well as overall perspective. We'll summarize themes as you add more responses. Bonus points: Offer to fill out a Network Insight for them as well.

Use the conversation to realign. Be open to reprioritization. If goals aren’t clear, this is your chance to ask your manager to define or co-create them.
